Richmond vs St Kilda - Game Day Thread

I can handle injuries and losses but i cant handle seasoned AFL players not able to run out even 3 qtrs of football

I’ve been waiting for Geelong to fall off the cliff. Didn’t realise that we go past them at 100 miles an hour and hurtle straight of ourselves.

Geez that was bad today. 2016 Richmond.

Strewth we didn't score while they scored 64pts from mid way through the 3rd quarter......
That is as damning a stat as you will ever see.

The umps just kept holding our momentum keeping them in it then we ran out of gas, and then out of interest.

Why are we so unfit? Why can’t we run out games. We’ve been hearing that missing the finals last year was a blessing in disguise as it gave us our first full pre season in 5 years. But against Carlton and Saints we have displayed a bush football team level of fitness.

Staggered at how far we have fallen and how quickly we have fallen. 2017-2020 seems a long time ago.

We conceded 8.4 from stoppages. Its the only thing we have Soldo in the team for, and he was awful today, totally smashed. Whats the point of playing him if we concede so heavily from stoppage?

Big learning curve for Gibcus tonight. He was on Membrey for most of the game and has been primarily on King this quarter, who's gotten off the chain a bit.

Robbie Tarrant kept King quiet beforehand.

Nah - our pressure through the midfield evaporated from mid way through the third - we lost our run, the saints forwards clicked, had space and King benefited - exactly the same as Rd 1.

Our problem is who comes in if Gibcus goes out. We desperately need at least 1 of Grimes or Vlas on the ground.

Grim day, huge turnaround. Ugly turnaround.

Soft underbelly exposed.

The RFC fabric has disintegrated, the club is a shadow of itself from 2020.

The love is gone the energy the vim and vigor is gone, this side for the last 12 months is not the RFC of the previous 4 years.

Martin walking away, key coaches leaving its all just disintegrated.

Yes it happens to all successful clubs but not usually that fast.

This ones is clearly on the players. 25 points up, Grimes goes down and we stop chasing. Like they thought the games was in the bag. Really terrible performance.

The game was lost when Grimes got injured and they didn't bring Balta to fill the gap instead they pulled Broad out of Vlastuins role when Balta was missing in the forward half today
