It was a good win but as tigerlove said GWS really are a bit soft. It was a win of pressure and desire more than anything else.
My husband and I were just saying this. For a team with so many high draft picks and decent players, they have never gone anywhere because they are soft and don’t seem to have much desire. It was a good win but as tigerlove said GWS really are a bit soft. It was a win of pressure and desire more than anything else.
Easy - Aarts, Ross and MillerGreat win, with 5 stars out. Who do we drop?
2 players in their 2nd games and Rioli limited experience down back. Tarrant, Broad and Short were all very good todayI criticised Tarrant last week but what a turnround as he is holding our inexperienced defence together ably assisted by Broad
Time to give Cotchin a break , yes he made an error but did you actually see his game today? He was brilliant and set the bar high!! He still out spiritual leader and a Tiger legend!! Your previous comments were laughable !Good win, plenty to like with the personnel out.
Thought Rioli was superb, Short and Tarrant excellent as was the whole defence, Dow showed plenty (hope he's ok), Balta could be anything and the two rucks worked ok today, albeit with a soft kill and Riewoldt out.
Thought the middle tier guys really found something, Graham, Broad, Pickett and even Parker early.
Umpiring was excellent, the Pickett spoil moves straight to exhibit A in the see what you want to see file, but our discipline was much better today apart from Cotchin who I'm still pissed off about.
As much as I'm pleased with the performance though, I'm conscious we played a team who were a bit undermanned and moved the ball really slowly today. That suits us beautifully, but the question remains can we go with the speed.
I’d stick with Miller.Easy - Aarts, Ross and Miller
