Richmond 2017 AFL Premiers

Some Bumhead fans I know also hoping we fail next season and make 2017 look like an aberration or a lucky season or a one-hit wonder etc...

even in the off chance we finish bottom 4 in the next 4 years and proves 2017 was a fluke, the record books will forever and a day say we are 2017 premiers.

haven't Essendon now overtaken us as the team with the longest streak without a finals win? no wonder they are salty.

2004 was their last finals win.

Amazing, really considering the arrogance of every Bombers supporter I've ever met.

Just like Egobourne, I'll be enjoying every hyped-up failure these syringe lovers make next season. All led by Blobbo....

Weren't the bumbers one hit wonders in around 1999 or 2000 - they arguably had one of the best seasons ever losing only one H&A game - dominated the finals including the grannie but never backed it up in the following years with wonder coach Sheedy.

Haven't they now the longest stretch of losing elimination finals. Love the bummers hype - the bigger the bubble the bigger the splash

Bingo. My least favourite supporters.

I like pointing out to them that they're the least successful club of this century now.

They point out the 2000 premiership, then I point out when a century starts.

A couple have suggested Melbourne, but they won a final in 2006. (I think Melbourne actually are the least successful team of the century, but Essendon supporters having to debate it is pretty enjoyable.)

Where is the up to date list that notes the order of how long each club has waited for:

a flag
A grand final
A finals win
A finals position

Can't remember any teams in recent memory who have kept their premiership 22 together plus their best players outside the best 22.

In recent times, clubs that kept the premiership 22 together played in another GF the next year - Hawthorn 2014, Collingwood 2010, Brisbane 2001, Adelaide 1997.

Thanks YT. Looks good.

Carlton & North still to win a flag this century.... :hihi

I believe it now....

My membership packs arrived...

The membership card has a stylised picture of the team taken after the siren in front of the stage with the trophy.

The Rioli Club card has a stylised picture of the Cup itself.

It's going to be beautiful pulling the out of the wallet at the gate each week.

Changed the criteria to be fairer to Gold Coast. Melbourne is now at the bottom of the list.

;D

wish mine would hurry up and get here.

ive already check the oil with one of my 1 October-purchased premiership T-shirts (after 1 wash, it looked like the bally flannel strips that my pop used to soak in kero to light the stove).

The best *smile* quality bit of clothing ive ever owned by a mile.

Premiers clash strip guernsey arrived yesterday. Very nice. Fits like a glove. Will rewatch the replay whilst wearing it in the next day or so! I'm predicting a big win for the Tiges after a tight first quarter. :D

Also received a "sorry for the delay" from the Tigerland online store. Thew sorry includes a code for 20% off Puma gear (including sale items) from the Puma online store (not Tigerland) and it is valid to the end of Feb.

Based on that and a bit of other info from further up in the thread it looks like Puma farnarkled up and RFC have extracted a pay-back from them for affected Tigerland customers.
