The club is taking the premiership cup on tour, stopping at Gold Coast, Darwin and Perth, but not Adelaide. Mightn't be welcome there.

Hope its back by November 14th, we have got it @ Club80

Should Club80 now be called Club17?

we did discuss it as a committee, decided against it, for a couple of reasons, Club17, Club18, Club19 etc,
also out of respect for our Patron Merv Keane.

I FINALLY got my DVD version and watched it last night. Very enjoyable.

And yes I’ve stuck my Herald Sun sticker on my car but I made sure I left room for the 2018 and 2019 ones too......

Great quote from Dave Astbury on the recollections video series:

'There's no point making it to the top of the mountain if you don't stay and have a look around'.

He speaks so well- big media or coaching career post-football for our Dave.

Looks like the South Aussies miss out on seeing what they missed out on!

If Dave has a big media career in front of him then Tross is looking 3 Oscars.

I've watched the replay 6 or 7 times and Townsend without the ball was great. Got in their heads when he rag dolled Lever and then drove a Crouch into the turf.

He sure was great, i think he crunched Matt Crouch twice, once on the boundary and again in the centre.

Can't remember what game it was but I saw a vfl match earlier in the season and Townsend laid a tackle that the crowd actually heard the crunch when it was done.
I just admit at the time I thought that was all he could do

They have to get to Ballarat as well, there's an army of mental tiger fans there.

Joke no Ballarat. 4 of the 22 came from Ballarat Richmond should be ashamed of themselves.

Thinking back during the finals series, the thing I enjoyed most was the pressure we applied and the constant yelling of "baaaaaall". Lost my voice in all 3 games.

The below clips are pretty good

That Richo spiel at the end of the Prelim is going to used and replayed for ever. So apt.

And i have a new piece of favourite Grand Final footage. When Lambert is released by Reiwoldt in the last, Rioli could have easily sat off completely, or gone inboard for a cheapie but he sprints hard the whole way to shepherd and bump the Adelaide player chasing Lambert.

All final series our blokes were blocking and bumping. In the prelim when Butler strolls in for the gimme in the last minute or two Shed is still there bumping Lobbe on the goal line. Absolute joy to watch.

Also Townsends hold of Lever's arm when Jack takes the speccie in the first is very noice too!!
