I love Conca's endeavour, but he's so frustrating, he had the second most tackles on the ground, but the most clangers. He gets a lot of contested possessions but hardly any clearances. Would like to see C. Ellis given his spot for a few games.

On past AFL games i agree, but C. Ellis has played inside mid for the last month or so and done ok. His tackles numbers are good which is a strength of Conca's and his disposal is heaps better, even if he doesn't get as many as Conca.

That's what frustrates me too, he's busts a gut and then undoes it with terrible kicking.
It might be worth trying him in a different role closer to goal, i think he could play in Butlers position. His set shot kicking is pretty good and he wouldn't be found wanting with tackling etc.

Bloke called Dermie once played us with a shirt full of busted ribs. Put on a wet suit vest for padding n munched a rather large handful of pain killers before running out n kicking about ten ( or similar outrageous amount ) against us n we even tried to work him over. There's some hard bastards out there that get better the tougher it is.tigerlove said:

Simple really. Conca should be dominating in the vfl and only getting a game when we are completely undermanned. Not starting week in week out.
