yes bull. we wasn't great sure, accept that and could well be dropped. But he wasn't 'enough is enough' bad.

His biggest issue is he goes to ground too easily.
Can't see him surviving long term.

Try’s hard, but no idea....
He’s a very good VFL player (as is Morris....who, to be fair, will be a good Capt for our VFL side),
but he can’t cut it at senior level.

It's not the worst comparison. To start with he wasn't but he has morphed into Morris. In the top 15 for clangers right now.
Watch Broad waltz in next week and take his spot. Player number 30 on the list and falling. Played 88 games, wouldn't bank on him getting to 95.

Conca is one of those players that makes me hold my breath out of fear when he gets the ball. He hesitates when he's got the ball, irrespective of the pressure being applied by the opposition and we all know what happens to he who hesitates.....he's lost.

He would probably be fine playing in 2012 but the game has changed since then. Plays too conservatively. As if he is scared of stuffing up all the time. In the process he misses opportunities.
Seems to be dragging our game style back a couple of years. I'm really scared of this rubbing off on other players - especially with the likes of Rioli and Prestia out of the team. Having a bad impact on the overall game style is worse than getting barely any touches at all IMO (e.g. C Ellis).

Here i was thinking Conca had mucked it up a little through the midfield handball chains, when i came across this quote on the match day app.

Nah. It's a very interesting study into the basic human need to blame someone. Recent criticism seriously failed to understand the big picture, people willing him to fail. Can play, full stop.
