Thought he was good today and very tough over the ball, particularly early.
Showed his early 2017 form was no fluke.
Will probably get Broad's spot early.

Did some good work in defence and showed some awareness around the ground. Now he needs to work on his kicking and try to hit a Tiger not an opponent which managed to do time and again

His kicking is just a little too sloppy I reckon. Short ahead of him for a spot in the backline imo

Conca does so much right but then lets himself down with his kicking. He either just chucks it on the boot and kicks a mungrle or when he does give himself time just doesn't look and kicks it lace out to the oppo. As like for like think short has him covered .

Not saying they’re in the same post code but Dusty butchered plenty yesterday.
Agree to some extent - Conca does rush his kicking at times and has a high (awkward?) looking ball drop. Reckon this is what makes his bad kicks look like shockers. I still have him in front of Short but needs to minimise the above.Kaelan said:

Shorty has him covered in kicking sure, Reecey has Shorty covered in all other aspects. Some nice classic moves out of heavy traffic, one in particular was comical in making the opposition look inept.
