Best game ever by Conca, been good so far this year and needs to keep it up. Pls don't spoil my good mood by even mentioning Morris or Hunt for that matter. I'm trying to train my brain to have selective amnesia and live in a world where neither exists.

Bloody fantastic to see the Concareter finally have the pre season fitness base n freedom from injury niggles to simply be able to get out n play footy. Might not be a Heppel, but if he can keep fit n healthy Conc's has the capability to be a very good second tier player supporting our elite and taking that little bit of extra heat off them.

Absolutely spot on.
Now let's get all behind him and actually wish him success as some supporters seem so ingrained with contempt for him that they refuse to enjoy his rise. He may actually end up a very good footballer for us. He was on Saturday.

Agree - when Conca is fit and free from injury he can play - done it before - saw him put in a blinder in our win against Hawthorn when they were in their prime and I reckon him doing his hammie early in that elimination final was a big factor in our loss.

His fitness is one reason we are 3 zip so long live the Conca hammies

I'm glad someone picked it up :fing32

Yeah it is good to see him have some continuity and fitness. Early days, but could possibly be a key for us, maybe able to play a variety of positions, gives some depth, some diversity, who'd have thought.

yeah great post willo, loved it. Maybe he could start wearing a yellow and black warm-up toga and really kick it over the edge.

Let's not forget that when he was at his best in 2013 and freo were circling, there were a lot on here hoping to re-sign him.
Massive upside in reece

That hammy tear in the 2013 EF cost him and Richmond a lot of good football.

KB said that Richmond were going to off load Conca but Balme stopped it.

Apparently Balme said that we can't go getting rid of first round picks for nothing. We need to develop them and give them every opportunity before letting them go. He said Balme also had a serious chat with Conca about what he needed to do if to remain at tigerland.
