Played a pretty good game yesterday and good to see the gradual improvement in his efforts and performances.
Conca playing well and strongly can only be a bonus for the Tigers after going missing in action (injuries or otherwise) over the past two seasons.

Bloody fantastic to see the Concareter finally have the pre season fitness base n freedom from injury niggles to simply be able to get out n play footy. Might not be a Heppel, but if he can keep fit n healthy Conc's has the capability to be a very good second tier player supporting our elite and taking that little bit of extra heat off them.

Like Grimes seems to have gotten past his hamstring injuries. Both can play but been curtailed. Both now making a real impact on our fortunes.

I'd hazard a guess Balmy and Leppa have had a significant impact. Been senior coaches, have a great understanding of what it is like to be the senior coach and, definitely in Balmys case, and probably in Leppas case don't want to be that guy any more. That's a lot of experience and stability. Hardwick at a guess has two guys he can rely on that aren't after his job and can offer candid advice that he may never have gotten before.

His run and carry off half back was pure quality

Did you see the list of assistants we had over the last couple of seasons? all seemed to be handpicked to not be a threat to Hardwick.

Who is Conca keeping out of the side. Batchelor for one. He might also delay Morris's eventual comeback.

Great to see him playing well of half back, however it does show a list problem with who his keeping out, Markov, Ellis, Drummond are players his keeping out of the half back role, problem is I don't think they can to his old role as a midfielder, Menadue could be played as a half back too , however I think the wings his best spot

Was one of the best Saturday. His spoiling work was first class. Had both sides of his game working well.

Reckon it was the best game he has played. Cleaned up very well down back and didn't butcher it like he usually does.

Well done to him and hope he can keep it up.

Am I right saying he was actually playing ok again just before he did his knee? Played well Saturday, I don't see a spot down back for him though at this point, maybe he could be tried as a defensive forward 8-

If not his best game for the club it was close. Was great in traffic & has got better in each of his games this year. Keep up the good work Reece

Is playing well and his spoils against guys who are 10cm taller have been good.
