Reece spoke at the Social Club tonight, happy as a pig in sh!t at the moment, gave plaudits to Balmey for sitting him down and having a chat and convincing him Tige's was the place to be, seemed like that is all he was wanting to hear. First full pre-season too so all is good in the world until that next hammy?, (hopefully not).

Conca was awesome today. His reading of the incoming ball, anticipation, pace (yes!), courage, ball-winning ability, vision and dancing feet are well-suited to the role. If he ever gets back to the kicking we saw in his draft year, look out.

But he's a dud and we shoulda taken a bunch of other players. Blah blah.

I'm glad he's healthy. Hopefully we see even more than he's shown so far.

Best game I've seen him play.

Seems to have eliminated the short kicks to a 50-50 contest.

Plenty more where that came from. Conca always had the footy brain, he just needed his body to get right.

Much better. Still does some crazy things but today is as good as I've seen him in two years.

Played a great game today.

Just got to work on getting more penetration on his kicks still.
Seems to get too close to the man on the mark which results in the up and unders.

Deserves a change in luck with the injury gods ... hope this good run continues.

Loved his game today, didn't see those panic kicks today and his pace was very good

Whoodda thunk you would need a preseason and a decent run without injury to have a chance to become a solid AFL footballer!

Best game I have seen him play. Not a fan usually but was quite impressive.

Was really strong in contests. His run was A1.
He played a really good game.

I still maintain that he shouldnt take our kickouts but.

Outstanding game. Up there with the Geelong game a couple years back at the 'G.

One of this years big improvers.

We get on and off players too quick. Good game, good players keep playing them.
