Hate to harp on it but...... after picking Conca we traded 2 picks last year to get 2 other blokes we picked after Reece.
Heppel just had 34 touches, 3 goals, 8 tackles and captaining the Bummers.

Suggest everyone write down where they would have taken conca in draft and then compare how he is going with his peers. He's already provided more value than Fiora and Tambling.

Ironic that one of the arguments against Heppell was he was a flanker and now we are playing Conca off half back while Heppell is captaining his club from the middle

No doubt it hard to change your kicking style, however for a bloke who's had so many hammy issues I'd have thought hed be trying to kick across his body at a minimum. He may well be trying too just under the heat of the game.
Goin ok, just has to stay on the park, don't think he'll ever be what you'd hope of a top 10 pick , however no reason if the body holds up he can't become a solid player for us.

At first, when you see a player with that hairstyle you think, nuhh, just a show-off who shows a bit of talent but will fade out soon enough. But I was wrong. He's improved 10-fold in the last few years even considering he stuck with a (scumbag ;D) club when going through a huge scandal.
It's only 1 game but he directed his teammates better than Jabba did.
