All that has ever been said is that he is a mediocre footballer when compared to what we paid for him.
And this of course is not Concas fault, but it is true nonetheless. We had a choice of at least 4 A graders and we chose Conca. It is a disgrace.
Having said that, would love him to at least get a run at it fitness wise.

Kid is done. Was never a top 6 pick and will never get anywhere near that sort of performance. Will be another year of a few games at the start, hoping he makes it before an injury or poor form will see him miss the majority of the year. Then, we do it again for 2018 because we are the RFC.

I'm certain regardless of the criticism, everyone does.
But if he does a full preseason and he still under performs, then he's fresh out of excuses.

Will be interesting to see where he plays tomorrow night. History suggests half back / midfield but I'd prefer to see him at the other end of the ground.
One of our biggest deficiencies last year was how easily teams walked the ball out of our F50. Conca is not slow like some seem to indicate and is a strong tackler. His other issues around kicking are mainly due to decision making under pressure. I think playing him as a defensive forward would be a good move and would utilise his strengths and minimise his weaknesses. I doubt we will see him there, but personally see that as his best position.
