Three things stand out . Balance (keeps his feet ) , vision , clean hands

Four things, Hits Targets with his kicks.

Isn't that a pleasant change.
Gotta agree. Great peripheral vision. Nice weight on his kicks, doesn't try to blast them. Dual sided, nice "touch" on his short kicks, kicks to his team-mates advantage, even putting them on the "off" side of team-mates opponent.
Just a busy player that keeps working.

They film every *smile* thing these days dont they .

All warped by technology society today.
The idea that my youthful faux pas would have been recorded for prosperity fills me with dread.

They’ll learn soon enough.

Doesn't use it that often if the highlights package are anything to go by, but super skilled guys like these can always use their left to a reasonable standard.
Presume I saw the same the highlights, hence the question. Looks like he goes pretty hard too.

Cheers ST.

It's the first footage I've seen, and I love the look of this kid. He runs like his feet are on tank tracks or something, if that makes sense.

Nice touch and weight on his kicks too. Looks the goods in the highlights package, let's hope he can bring it over to the big time.

If I had a right boot like Conca I would never had bothered going on to my left!! Doesn't appear to have many weaknesses..maybe the unkown things such as endurance, speed etc...

Re: Pick 6: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

He'll need to build up strength Ghost, that will take time, however I'm happy with what I see so far.

To me he is one of those people who seem to glide rather than run over the ground if that's what you mean .

Re: Pick 6: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

moves like marc murphy - better kick though. one touch player, great hands, great balance. never went to ground in the highlights.

That sums it all up for me.

He looks good in that no 4 doesnt he?!!

Somehow doesnt look as good in the 16!

Pity for him Dusty's got it wrapped up for the next 15 years!

SMOOOOOOOOOOTH mover.

Re: Pick 6: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Pure footballer. Highlights have been just as impressive as Cotch, better than Martin's - high hopes for this young fella. Appears to be the missing link to our complete midfield. Bring on a gorilla at both ends next year!

Hopefully No. 7 next year.

Hopefully 36 next year...then at least my 9y/o will get another year out of his jumper (was like a bulldog chewing on a wasp when I told him Dusty's changing to number 4). Bloody transfer numbers.
No doubt I will cave in and get a new jumper with No.4 anyways - It's a conspiracy I tell's ya (very smart RFC).

Get Martin to sign it and frame it and put it up on your lad's bedroom wall as rookie memorabilia. Give him that along with a new number 4 jumper for his birthday. Make him think he only got the jumper on the wall, then surprise him with the new one. Boom, Dad wins.

Re: Pick 6: Reece "Squirrel" Conca

Not sure if anybody has already mentioned it but the more i watch his highlight package the more he reminds me of Cousins! The way he guides the ball onto his boot (both sides) and hits targets and the way he moves and gets around the ground. :clap
