Did some very nice inside things and looks like a footballers footballer.
Needs a pre-season as has been mentioned but we have a good one here. Just ease up on the expectations. He's not fit.
Good role player this year who should show glimpses and is hopefully sound defensively but don't expect a breakout season when he didn't get the miles into his legs.

Needs to pull his finger out this year. Gives away far too many sloppy free kicks and tends to disappear through games.
Looking at Big V, I would play him a head of conca at this time.

Went ok without being a standout. Doesn't panic when he gets the ball and his disposal is getting better. Needs to learn how to tackle low to the body though.

Would rather him give away frees through going hard at the footy and opposition. Worse traits going around!
You would also expect him to be rusty early on given his limited preparation this season.

Conca's disposal was okay but he can do better. He needs to work on his tackling so he isn't so easy to get around. All these things can improve though it is only the Nab cup.

They'll both play, zippadee-do-da. It takes four pre-seasons for most to build up to AFL quality midfield bodies and fitness - look at Beams last year, his fourth. He's had about a pre-season and a half. I wouldn't be expecting a quantum leap from him this year. (Who's had four pre-seasons now? The Bull. He's the watch.)

goes in harder than most and love his enthusiasm, but geez his ball handling is a bit iffy.

seems a bit fumbly at the moment.

Shows glimpses - that goal was top notch.
Flew with the big guys, landed on his feet and great snap.
Just needs to get the fitness into him after missing a lot of the preseason and he will be a solid accumulator.

I reckon he's a man in a boys body. When he physically develops he'll be a weapon for sure. He and Vlaus will do a lot of scary stuff together.

A bit devious IMO. I like his will to win, and coming off an unpopular pre-season, his ability to win. Big improver in 2013 for mine.

Reece was decent tonight and that fly then bounce back and goal was great.
