Rebuild Time

The gameplan needs a rebuild at the very least. It doesn't work against good sides. The problem is that since Dimma took over, I dont believe there has been a genuine development of a skills first (and by this i really mean footskills) play style. Instead of trying to isolate your best weapons up forward we just time and time again bomb it forward.

JK we tried footskills in 2016. Ball security and slow controlled movement. It sucked

Caddy ain't a star this year, Lynch is running on three cylinders, Riewoldt and Cotchin have played eight games between them and Martin's had his issues.

one slight worry is how the older guys respond to long term injury, but by all accounts Alex and Jack are smashing rehab ..

Certainly they do and it’s good to call them out at those times.
But then it’s just embarrassing when we have some our own doing the same thing.

I think we are rebuilding in a big way. At least we know Jack Ross is a better inside mid than anyone else on our list. Sydney Stack is just an awesome footballer. Balta is an exceptional talent. Lynch with a full Pre-Season will get much better. Garthwaite will be a great defender in 2 years. Naish will be a very good footballer in 3 years. Bolton is emerging. We have advanced a quantum leap this year so far.
