I marked us at a 5/10.
We got a pass mark but not much more.

I liked:
1. Improvement from Rance, Vickery, Nahas, Cotchin, Grimes, Martin and King
2. The recruitment of Bachar Houli
3. The debuts of Conca, Batchelor and Helbig
4. The fans passion
5. Improving our win/loss ratio and ladder position
6. Playing a geniunely young team for most of the year

You really believe the Club wanted to win that much to worry about tactics. They only wanted the players to try to win. Would have been happy to win but not worried. The List Management Team would have really happy. Probably could have won but the difference in the Draft picks right through all picks is huge advantage. Personally I was very happy with the result. Lost only because of tactics and probably the worst of the umpire decisions.

I disliked:
1. Not having a consitently competitive ruckman who could do better than break even - poor list management
2. Being outcoached tactically, e.g. North yesterday
3. Troy Taylor leaving
4. Losing to the bottom teams on road trips
5. Seeing certain players getting too many games - McGuane, Farmer, Morton and Graham
6. Not seeing Tuck played more

I gave a 6. In my thinking a 5 would place us where we were at the end of last year.

apart from disappointing losses and an end to my perfect record of never seeing the tigers lose live (a miracle it lasted so long really) I often saw the game plan click and loved watching some of the younguns develop.
Liked seeing Delidio finally being pushed by the talent of martin and cotch to play to his potential
Also liked the clever recruiting of Helsin and the pNG boy which may turn out to be strokes of genius

I did not like losing Tailor, though no fault of the club, and do have issue with some of the match selections and contract situations and Jackson made me very grumpy when he forgot he was not an A grade midfeilder (see last game), rucks etc- but all of these am happy to swallow for the obvious improvement in all areas. Almost a 7 but part of what I like about this group is that only winning is good enough for them. So I'll stick with them on this.
