R3 Changes v GWS

Out Jack Grimes Weller Markov Ellis Butler
In Balta Houli Ross Baker Aarts Moore

I'd say Cal will be in for Jack. It gives Lynch a chance to control attack more without Jack around.

We have no depth people. Hardwick thought the same 22 that won us a flag will continue to play together for the next 37 years.
We dropped the perfect chance to go back to back. And only into round 2 of a new season we look totally unprepared.
And might be a very very long season.

Time for Benny to send Damien away to the USA again.
To enable Leppa & Blake to rearrange the deck chairs.

Rance, Reiwoldt and Grimes out next week so our regular spine is missing so what have we to fill those spots as well as those that were downright poor yesterday. Now to see what our vaunted back up is especially the obvious replacements are mostly underdone due to injuries. I await next Thursday with interest

For those expecting wholesale changes you can almost forget it. Not in Hardwicks DNA.

Out: Riewoldt, Grimes & maybe 1 more. I would say Weller.

In: Moore, Balta, Ross

Rance, JR, Grimes, Caddy, Grigg and possibly Houli all missing is a massive gap for selectors to fill. You don't just replace these leaders and expect everything will be okay. Prepare for a tough month but reckon our new boy Lynch will relish the opportunity to become an on-field leader and hopefully we'll see Balta, Ross and Garth, etc given a chance to show what they have. A word of warning to the fickle supporters if you don't want to feel any pain then look away for the next month.

Whatever happens this year - we need to get games into Balta and Garthwaite. Whether it’s this week or not I don’t know however they need a good run at senior level. We have no idea how Rance will come back in 2020 and Astbury looks slow and is only getting older and slower! Need to have a look at these two and see if they could be pillars for us going fwd.

Perspective.

R1 GWS played a useless drugged up team as we saw today and tonight they're chasing WC. If we just clean up our disposal and brain thinking, we can win over there next week.

Cameron 5
2 ruckmen
Davis on Lynch
Midfield too strong

50 point coming up. Won’t go near them

GASPAR!!!!

On a serious note....what the hell is he up to nowadays?
Most of that era team you still hear from on the odd occasion, but Gaspar has dropped off the face of the earth!

Think he does some commentary in the West.

Considering we didn't travel well at all last year.
Anyone think we can or will reverse the trend this year.

Only lost by 2 points to them there last year, but our side was a whole lot better than what we’ve got available this time.

Our away record before last year was ok,

I think last year we placed so much emphasis on the g as being our fortress ,

We kind of relaxed our intensity when we were away from there
