Houli wasn't involved or on on Cripps for his first goal, in fact, Houli made the space and was alone and the target of a poor Dusty kick when we were in possession and the turnover had us out of position. Cripps 2 other goals were from ball ups in their forward line and were magnificent snaps. First of those Houli was drawn in to tackle Darling and Cripps was recipient of handball. Maybe could have held back. Easy to say in hindsight. 2nd, Yeo quick kick from the ball up rebounded off a Tiger's leg straight into the arms of Cripps for a snap and goal. Zero Houli could have done about it. Could have just as easily rebounded into his arms.
So how's that for perspective based on the factual situation? Houli was magnificent, even deniers can't disagree surely? All players make mistakes in a game of footy especially if you're getting it 34 times. Playing the devil's advocate though makes no sense on his performance yesterday.
