I suggest you look at Mcauliffe's stats, specifically tackle numbers. 5 game kid playing in a team with barely one midfield rotation. He's wrecked.
We looked real good in the first half with many of the kids starring.
If not for a couple of critical errors (looking at you Sonsie and Pickett) we could’ve gone six goals up.
Geelong are a big-bodied team and were always odds-on to gain the ascendency against striplings.
Apart from two blips we continue to make a good account of ourselves on the way to what will hopefully be a fruitful trade and recruiting period.
And Yze? Yes, he can coach.
I like how we are tracking whilst maintaining a realistic eye on the many gaps in our list.

Not too displeased with the guys tonight. Bags of effort and endeavour especially in the first half. We just ran out of legs in both the cubs and the experienced. There are signs we are on the right trajectory
We need an overhaul in strength and conditioning. Couldn’t play out the game.
The pressure was great in the first half. It completely died out after that. I think we have a decent recruiting manager now. We just need a new fitness guy and it can turn around. Matt Clarke missed the memo that you need running power these days.
