Way better than that ugly oblong quagmire at the Pussies.

I don’t imagine it costs $100 for the club to print a name on a brick, but I can guarantee they’d get a much stronger take up on a $300 brick with a name on it than $200 with digital acknowledgement.I'm sick of the sooking by some members re this redevelopment, I'm in and DGAF about my name being somewhere. I can't wait to use it
If only there was more space at the Punt Road side.
Looks like there's a lot more room behind each goal though. If only there was more space at the Punt Road side.

As the CBD's turned to 1 lane and the govt wants less traffic, might as well change Punt Road back to 2 lanes.....or seriously needs to go underground.Yeah, something about widening Punt Rd in 1965 might explain that. Ever since we have been really hemmed in and clearly can't get even a small amount of extra space. I would have thought that maybe 10-20m extra wouldn't really have much impact on the parkland.

we will shortly launch a key consumer fundraising campaignFrom The President:
Off-field, we remain committed to commencing the Punt Road Oval redevelopment this year. Increased costs have complicated our plans somewhat and, on behalf of members, the Board is conscious of taking a responsible approach to debt in the current economic climate.
That said, we still expect to commence works this year. This redevelopment is vital to our future. It will strengthen us off-field and give us the opportunity to win on-field.
As part of this, we will shortly launch a key consumer fundraising campaign, engaging the might of the Tiger Army to kick-start our final push. Please keep an eye out for it and as always, any support is greatly appreciated.
***PS. I will believe it when I see it.
I got mine today.we will shortly launch a key consumer fundraising campaign
so I am now a “consumer” having received the letter yesterday.

Might fit out a couple of offices.Probably pay for a couple of car spaces in the current environment.
Gee the Bulldogs have done very well for themselves. A brand new $78 million state of the art centre. $36 million from the state government alone.
We can't even turn a spade in the dirt with this thing.Gee the Bulldogs have done very well for themselves. A brand new $78 million state of the art centre. $36 million from the state government alone.
I hope we can tap into that as well.
You should see the moaning on big footy, they want the car park scrapped so we will have a big new facility with no parking cos there is parking 700 metres up the road and a train station for the staff to get to workWe can't even turn a spade in the dirt with this thing.
It has been mentioned before but the carpark is a great investment. It would be a possibility to sell the car park rights as well, there are plenty who do that sort of thing. Car parks all over the country are owned and operated independently from the building owner. You should see the moaning on big footy, they want the car park scrapped so we will have a big new facility with no parking cos there is parking 700 metres up the road and a train station for the staff to get to work
I can see it now, book a function at PRO and train your guests in, it will be a real winner, the players can run to work it will be part of the training
It’s time the board gave us an update on this project. We need to be excited for this project to happen. How much has the club raised by our members? We can't even turn a spade in the dirt with this thing.
