About the moves u mentioned the brilliant frawley did on friday!!!! You were watching the game at the MCG???? Gaspar on Tarrant has been standard for many years!!!! Kellaway always takes the bigger oppopnent when dutchy isnt around!!! Standard!!! Newman on didak would have been every single tigers choice anyway!!! Obvious!!! Look, i'm not a spud apologist, and i agree that he has made blunders. I agree with alot of what you've said, but let me touch up on some things.

The reason Leon Davis didn't get a touch all night was BECAUSE Rodan was on him.

Would you have called spud a dud if he brought Vardy on and he didn't get a touch as well?

Richo did good at full forward and should have won us the game, it wasn't Frawley's fault there. Richo was dominating at FF.

I thought Stafford and Hall were used quite effectively.

I agree that Schulz should have been playing. But not in place of Hyde. Hyde did ok. King should not have been there.

Round one in case you hadn't noticed is gone, there's nothing we can do about it. Scream and whinge all you want, call for the coaches head on a platter but it's not going to change that FACT. I'm sorry but you can't just wave a magical wand and all our problems will be fixed. Oh look with a wave of my wand Richo will never kick a point or out of bounds on the full again. Another wave and King will magically put on 15 kilos of muscle. Look out all our players can hit their targets. Holy hell Danny is now super coach of the year all with the wave of my wand.

We can't just get rid of half of the playing list. We can't sack the coach with practically 2 season on his contract to go not without getting into financial trouble. See that? WE CAN'T! WE ARE STUCK WITH WHAT WE HAVE!!

So go ahead write the same old monotonous crap again and again but you know what it's not going to do you any good! I don't like what's happening with richmond anymore than you do but the sooner some of you football geniuses realise that the happier we'll all be.

When you get back from the fairies with SPUD tell him he has a team to coach and try and win something!!!! Also see if hes asked the fairies for a new game plan!!!!!!!!! The Fairy godmother should be able to give him a few tips on how to coach!!!!

In case you hadn't noticed I said I didn't like what's happening at richmond or did you miss that. Just like you missed that the title of this thread is POSITIVES any idea what that means?? Or would you like me to get the dictionary out?

When did I say everything was ok? I never did. I am just sick of people having a *smile* all the time about the same things over and over and over again. Yes Frawley makes many mistakes, Yes our players have bad skills. Yes so and so may turn out to be a dud but does that mean you have to post it all the time. Or maybe some people enjoy reading/writing posts bagging our players and coach.

Each to their own I spose, but to me it becomes a tad tedious.
I think we're all in need of a good hard fought competitive effort from the team on Sunday.
I get the feeling this thread has more than run it's course now.
Might be time to move on if there's nothing new to add guys.

My final positive is like I've posted in the facts on the main page, Richmond haven't lost the first two rounds for over 10 years.
It's no time to be re-writing the record books in that dept now either, so Go You Mighty Tiges.

Can't dominate a game???????? The combination you are talking about hasn't even played a game yet. Even if we exclude Krak, this combination has only played on game and at least two of them were underdone.

It may just yet turn out to be one of the best midfields in the comptetition, but that is not going to happen overnight.

Spot on Gus. It's going to take them a few rounds to click and in terms of Campo, Blumfield, Zantuck and Hilton they will need a couple of weeks to fully regain match fitness. Our midfield will only get better as the year progresses.
