Victorian Supreme Court judge Betty King says she can't stop the Seven Network's "crime mums" interview being shown outside Victoria, but she has told the jury in the Lewis Moran murder trial to ignore any news reports about the program.
The judge yesterday ordered that Seven not show the interview in Victoria with Barbara Williams and Judy Moran at all until the trial was over.
Today she conceded that her powers stop at the Victorian border.

Winmar gets offended because Newmans puts some black paint on his face and a footy jumper and makes out he is Winmar....Newman had to have some counselling.
SOME women decide they are offended because he dressed a mannequin up as Caroline Wilson and got some laughs out of it...so now they are calling for the cast of the Footy Show to be counselled.
I think Newman summed up what I think of this situation also:
Newman said he intended to further discredit the women who have called for the show's cast to be counselled on their attitude to women.
"It's just an absolute crock of *smile*," he said on Sports Entertainment Network radio.
"I will point out something tonight which will show you the absolute credibility of these people, and one in particular who are driving this, and they will be shown up to be seen to what they actually are. And that is a practising hypocrite."

But poor old Sam did look awfully out of touch tonight. Lyon and Brayshaw tried to build a bridge after their last total *smile* up. Came off soft IMO.
What about the I didn't apologise thing from Newman? Then there's the whole can't speak, dumb, pissed all the time problem. What a relic.
There was a lot going on. Without much at all going on.
Then we get to the real PC gone mad moment- the counseling. I'm afraid the proposers of this little sideshow fully cocked up. But they hadn't sufficiently lost the plot with that brainwave and followed up with the planned induction of footy show guests. I'd be getten some distance from those strokes of genius quick smart. (Watch em run for cover.)
As for Sam's imminent expose, he's completely brainless and will make a balls of it. Why not start out by making a balls of it- pledging to discredit the evil women? Get help, dill.

I think Sam did sound foolish to a degree when he spoke about women at board level not contributing anything.
If I woman is deemed the best person for the job then I have no problem with them being given the position and I would expect them contribute the same than if a male was given the job.
However, if clubs feel the need to put a woman in at board level as some sort of token gesture (and Sam alluded to this later on in his ramblings) then I agree with him.
Not only is the footy club short-changing itself by not getting the best person for the job...but they are degrading women by choosing them as a token female, more or less condemning women to a 'well, if you're not good enough to make it on your merits then we'll give you the job because we feel obliged to'.
People should get jobs and roles on their merits...not to suit a political correct agenda.

Balls up all round. Thought the Footy Show botched it last night. Brayshaw said nothing and Lyon worked himself into a lather trying to spit out all the 'facts' in as fast a time as he possibly could. Then just as Newman was at least maintaining his line with some (un)reasonable dialogue, he states that women are carte blanche useless in all footy matters. So Lyon and Brayshaw spend 5 minute trying to get him to soften - fail - then when it got to hard simply wrapped it up with a 'we love you anyway Sammy' finale.
