Pick 9 ND 2012 – Who should we pick?

Tiger Tuff. said:
when was it banned "all over the world"?

It's been quoted in The Age that it's been banned in France, the very place where it was pioneered. Have also heard that in the insurance industry in the US have refused to cover anything which relates to any complications from the surgery and have blacklisted clinics offering the treatment. AFL clubs have also been very wary of the longterm effects, particularly with young players.

Cant really misfire (with pick 9) with those type of things written about you. Building a team of contested ball animals!!!!

If Garlett is still on the board at 32 or 34 do we pull the trigger regardless of the risk attached with his behaviour?

Lol where did this pic come from? Are West Coke playing games again? What's their first pick again?

Can someone break it down on how to pronounce this Vlatsuin kids name.

is it V-Lats-oo-in?

Actually it's Vlastuin (s before t) and is Dutch for Linseed/Flax (Vlas) and Garden (Tuin).
To pronounce the 'ui' properly you need to have been born in Holland.

I found this somewhere on the net....
ui-: This is apparently one of the most difficult sounds to produce for English speaking persons. It is formed lower in the mouth and by rounding the lips a little less than for the uu-. The sound produced is between the ou- and the eu-. It is found in the Dutch words huis (house) and vuil (dirty).

Yeah the surgeon wouldn't preform it on me even though I was keen, I thought it may have actually been blacklisted completely recently when you said all over the world. I was more wondering if I hadn't heard something.

Would there be such concern over Troy though if Daniel had played 85 games with no problems?

Oh bewdy, we get a ranga linseed farmer with a dirty house. Surely the tigs would have picked this up doing their due dilly?

Garlett is nowhere so far. Must be some real issues there.

Huge. I would have punted on him at one of picks in the 30's though.

Just on Garlett, if you take a look at some of the photos of him out on the town that he posts on his instagram, take a close look at his pupils.

Shots like this (and the comments on them) don't inspire too much confidence - http://instagram.com/p/PFDW0ZtJ4x/
