Courageous selection that paid off. Getting injured early might've worked in our favour, seemed to get under their guard today.

Yup the Jack is out of the box well and truely now thats for sure.

Dimma said he went to Sloane in the 2nd quarter to quieten him down. Rory ended up with 21 touches and two goals after a hot start. Fairly influential performance from the lad, and he got a vote from Judd.

Reckon that the vote came from Judd will mean a lot to him.

Was reading the Footy record before the game today and his stats are out of this world. What we see are definitely seen in his stats.

KE = 70.8% (No. 2 amongst our mids but much higher CP than No. 1 - Menadue)
DE = 79.6% (No. 1 amongst our mids)
CP = 47.3% (Only behind Dusty and Cotch)
Tackles = 8

What a fantastic find. Give him a 5 year contract ASAP.

So impressed with this fella. Really old head on some very young shoulders.

Jack as a future Captain looks like his made to be touch of Hodge about him . Amazing story looking forward to seeing it unfold .

Probably been mentioned before but until the draft last year he was barracking for the Crows, his idol was Rory Sloane and even modelled his game on him. Now he's played on him in a GF and beaten him! Kid must be thinking, when will I wake from this dream...along with 100,000 tigers supporters!

Bring on the rising star.

No chance. The thought of awarding the Rising Star to a Premiership player will be too much for the AFL

Apparently his nickname at the club is "Fridge" according to Bachar on Game Day.

Big game temperament, hard to measure that when drafting kids ,

We struck gold with this boy
