Pick 53: Jack Graham

What are we doing with him. Missed the first 5 weeks of the season,

No VFL minutes and straight back into the side for 2 weeks

hammy for 2 weeks

Straight back into the side again with no VFL minutes? Why?

Based on the past he will be slow as a treacle. Will take a few weeks to find any form (assuming he doesn't get injured...)

Building his price for a trade at the end of the year. Required player = higher price

He’s a free agent.

He’s broken down twice in half a season. I imagine his second injury has already put him in the injury prone basket. One more soft tissue would be a disaster from a contract offer point of view.

Yeah, it’s all but career over IMO, will go to SA for 2 seasons of injury riddled, mediocre footy and be done.

Doubt the SA clubs would want him
I think off field he's probably worth a bit.
This is a guy who played a preliminary final through a pretty bad injury. You want that type of heart and courage inside your four walls.

When I questioned his inclusion with no build up, Sin claimed that he was right to go last week, but we decided to keep him out for another week.

In defence of Jack. When we picked him up at No 46 in the national draft 2016 he was either injured or just coming off an injury and we took a punt on him. He played well enough in the season to be picked for the GF final team and scored three goals and did an immense amount of work over the ground to hammer the Crows into submission. Sure he gets injured far too much but the criticism of him being too slow, not hard enough in tackles and can't kick goals is fairly wide of the mark in his pretty good career for us to date. If we could get him conditioned right he is still a valuable player for us.

We just can't get him 100% right.
He might not be Warner but I remember him running all day.
The day he kicked 4 goals against Carlton he wouldve been worth 2 1st rounders
But he has had 2 years of constant soft tissue injuries.
If he didn't want to leave, I would 100% keep him and just put him out from now to get him 110% by round 1 2025.
I wouldn't give him away for nothing. The bloke is a legend
