So basically Sam Edmund doesnt really know anything more than what the rest of us already know. Cool.

well tiger 71 posted similar but says favouring staying at richmond has dimma holds him a high priority, says maybe a 2 year contract at tigers with a similar contract after the 2 years as carlton due to likely retirement of cotchin ,feels he will develop better at tigers.

So how big is Carlton's salary cap? Have they got 50% more than everyone else? $900K for Williams. Massive money for Fatso McGovern and Martin. Cripps and Charlie Curnow on massive dough. Now they're throwing big money at Graham; it has to be big money if he is fact seriously considering the offer.

I'd be surprised if he wanted to leave to go to that *smile* joint but if he does we must bend them over in the trade. If he really wants to get there they will have to trade; he won't make it in the PSD.

We owe them big time for Yarran.

If Carlton are offering 4 years (not sure but believe they are) then we need to offer 3 at least. Anything less would be a bit insulting IMO.

Graham has been speaking with Carlton during our run for a flag? I call BS

I could handle him returning to SA for family reasons etc., but to Carlton?? You've got to be *smile* kidding.

“Richmond midfielder Jack Graham remains “legitimately torn” on whether to stay at Punt Road or take up an offer from Carlton, according to SEN Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund.

The 22-year-old premiership player, who is out of contract at the end of 2020, has been heavily courted by the Blues after impressing in his four seasons at the club.

Carlton continues to target midfielders to provide support for co-captain Patrick Cripps and Edmund reported that Graham “likes what the Blues have sold” with their offer.

“I think Jack Graham at the moment is legitimately torn between staying at Richmond and joining the Blues," he said on SEN Mornings.

“He likes what the Blues have sold to him – and I’m not saying that he’s definitely going – but the choice he has to make is between Richmond and Carlton.

“He is a chance of leaving and there’s an offer on the table from the Tigers and there’s some toing and froing taking place there is my understanding.

“But it isn’t done.”“

"Jack Graham may or may not leave Richmond at the end of the season"

The pertinent part of this garbage is the part where Sam Dribblemond says " I think" Jack Graham is etc etc. In other words he's guessing he doesn't really KNOW.
Typical of the dribble I've come to expect from the football media hacks.

So he is torn between
Richmond's 2 year contract at say $480K per year with possible two premierships being loved by the Tiger Army or
Carlton's 4 year deal at say $700K per year with no premierships and being despised by the Tiger Army

Caution I am only guessing at the figures trying to work out why he is torn

If we have to pay a bit more to keep him, i'd pay it.

Cotchin isn't getting any younger and JG has really his his straps this year.

Well if the blues want him they'll have to pay up as the Crows are on the bottom and would be quite happy to take him for free.
Pick 7 could help alleviate the loss if things were to travel down that path.

If I was a player being chased by Carlton.

I'd love to go meet em just for the LOLz.

Seriously how good would it be asking them what they can offer you that I cant get at Punt Road and enjoy watching what gymnastics they try to pull off to put forward any sort of a case except one with $750 k in it.
