Pick 53: Jack Graham

He hits the packs at full pace. Not many do this. Look out if you are between him and the ball. Built for finals.Love the flying fridge!

He seems to step up more when we're not having a good day. Either he's super consistent and it's the others that go up and down around him, or he's the type that steps it up when it matters.

Also, I might add that at only 22, he is our Cotch replacement - which is maybe why some talk of his leadership traits. Hopefully he will be approaching the 100 game mark when our Cotch decides to hang up his boots.

He is playing well now but is crucial in our long term build. If we can’t keep players like Graham then I can’t see us sustaining long term success.

Only concern I have is Ross and Graham are very similar players. Graham has runs on the board, Ross looked great before getting injured. They play a similar role but I'd hate to lose either (unless we get a Godfather type offer for one of them)

i think he'll stay. in last years Prelim he endeared himself to Dimma in a big way, and in the presser last night he had good words to say about Fridge when asked about the contract

I see ross as an in and under extractor. graham is more a defensive mid who covers ground and applies pressure.

why aren't grahams shoulders taped up as a precaution? judd taped his all the time. i know it may restrict his movement, but his game revolves around in tight pressuring and tackling. one wrong move may see his shoulder pop again

Could be a mindset thing for him? When his shoulders are taped he feels he needs to be cautious, no tape means all as good as new

Has been really great the last few weeks, had him as our best mid last night, well and truly earned his bucket of kfc this week.

AFL.com.au reporting that aside from EssenDon and Adelaide being interested in Jack that Carlton are too.

Cos he tore em a new one last year on the run into the finals kicked 4 goals and bashed them through the middle probably his best game apart from his finals heroics .

Instigated our big half time lead on them. Ended the game early.
