Is Geelong the worst #3 side?
Should be on a 5 game losing streak.
WIll get trounced next week.

We know that Essendon are #2 and frauds.
What a ladder

This is looking one of those years were it’s a really average set of teams competing for second.

My only fear is the Swans have peaked too early.

My concern is that unfortunately Collingwood are the biggest dangers to the swans which is why we need them to bank a few losses whilst they have some players out.
IMO the only other teams in it are GWS and Carlton.

The commentators were talking up their young midfield- that our c graders demolished for a half. Atkins- 28, Bowes- 26, Bruhn 22 and Holmes 21.
Its ordinary now, and isnt getting much better anytime soon.

Both Cats and Bombers have poor midfields. Our third string midfielders took them to task. Bombers probably wont win any more than three games. They are due for their june/july collapse. Cats are ordinary too.

So far this season we have beaten the top team, been a goal down the 2nd placed team late in the last quarter, been well on top of the 3rd placed team at half time, and 3 pts down at 3/4 time, been 2 goals up on the 4th placed team at 1/2time, and 1 goal down at 3/4 time, and lost to the 5th placed team by 5pts after being in front early in the last.

if we are fit next year we are going to rise along way up the ladder.

How the thuk wasn't zuthrie dropping the ball not a free and geelong get a super lucky free in front of goal.

Melbourne window shut. Petracca out long term, forward line a mess, midfield shallow, Oliver a shadow of the player he was, not trading Petty, trading a second round pick for McAdam! They got hot for the six weeks before the 21 finals, rampaged through a finals to a flag and looked unbeatable for the first 10 rounds of 22. Since that point, very average. List has been mismanaged, the next generation is ok but they didn’t get the mix right to keep the window open. Gawn is all time great but the plan for him to go forward and Grundy to ruck, was the point of no return.

So good to know when they look at us with our three flags they will never come close.
And the had the framework like us but missed out on a forward like Lynch or Jack to get them out of a jam.

If Lynch signs at Melbourne or Collingwood, we don’t get three and they each have at least one more.

Tom Lynch swayed the last five years of football.

The Three Little Pigs, wtf?

McRae singled out assistant coach Hayden Skipworth in his post-game press conference for his planning ahead of the clash against Melbourne, before explaining why the Magpies used the 'Three Little Pigs' fable as the theme in round 13.

"We wanted to make sure our house was made of bricks today," he said. "It wasn't what Melbourne were going to do, it was about how we were going to protect our house, keep it in order."
