The other thing I caught tonight was Open Mike with Adam Goodes.

Damn does that guy do his race proud. Not just the greatest indigenous footballer ever to play the game IMO (also one of the best ever) but is also a great role model.
Very impressive man for sure. He could also become the first indigenous AFL Coach imo.
He is not the best indigenous player I have seen though, that to me is our own Maurice Rioli ( but I am biased) . Goodes gets him on longevity at the top I guess.

Maurice is my favourite Tiger ever. Goodes record speaks for itself.

Just caught 360 tonight and saw the snippet from Roos when asked if he was interested in coaching next year..denied it unconvincingly.
Looked to me like someone's in his ear. Likely the Blues.

James Hird all over.......Again!

Has Roosy been offered a position with Visy ;)

Jeanie has been paying him visits
with a nice cut lunch in those
brown paper bags with which
the Carltank are known for...

go jeanie go jeanie...

Good pick up.
He was quite unsuccessful as I recall?

40-36 record, which wasn't great in the days of the final five. Three losses from four finals by a combined 178 points.

Polly Farmer coached Geelong for three years 1973-75.

Roos supported carlton as a kid ....
Let's see if he changes the way he talks about the swans as the year progresses - if he stops saying "we" and starts using "they" there might be something to it

Maybe I recall Cable being unsuccessful because he had a better team than the results showed? I don't remember Farmer coaching the Cats, must be getting senile.

Anyway I could easily see Goodes becoming an AFL coach if that is what he wants to do.

Brock McLean just virtually said that Melbourne tanking in 2009 . He felt sorry for Bailey as he was directed to tank and that was why McLean wanted out to go to Carlton.

Just heard it too. Complete rabble that club. With Neeld at the helm, I can't see any future there. I feel sorry for Jimmy.

Why else would you go from a tanker club to a wanker club.

It's ok...I don't really like Melbourne anyway.

Hardly a surprise. Bailey said as much. Robertson said similar. Adrian Anderson didn't hear the question.

Didn't Libba tel everyone that Carltank did exactly the same as the Dees when Rats took on the coaching job? Strange how Brock was so eager to rush from his own mob of cheats to an even bigger mob of cheats a bit further down the road. Or was Carltank a bit closer to home than Casey fields where the Deetankers were heading.
