On the couch

Just because I rate Roos as the clear standout of the media rabble when it comes to analysing tactics...

I was very happy when he said tonight that the way teams will need to start playing is - down the line with mids front and square - like Richmond's natural game (or words to that effect).

The AFL idiots didn't know what they were doing brining in 10 concurrent rule changes (just ask Alistair) - but it looks like it may ultimately benefit us - despite their intent.

Just saw it. Good credits to us from all 4 of them. At least we got some there.

Yep, I reckon the Port game has the potential to be season defining for us - Johnno Brown and Roos basically said the same. Lyon is still an idiot.

:hihi Just shook his head and mumbled.

It's becoming more and more like a American type show with all of them trying to talk over each other for more me time.

Interesting news from the reporter saying that Brendan McCartney is under scrutiny as Egobourne's defensive coach and that he doesn't get on well with Goodwin and Troy Chaplin (forward coach).

With Jetta out but Garlett probably in, let's hope their enthusiasm is still low on Wednesday night. We need a % boost.

If Chaplin coaches the way he played we will win by 500

If they are winning it’s about Melbourne.
If they are losing it’s about.......Melbourne ...

I'd be happy with a win by 250.
Whichever way, the Tigers need to sit the Demons on their arses on Wednesday night.

Thanks to Paul Roos after tomorrow night it’ll all be about Sydney... we can’t catch a break.

Melbourne are a one man team with Gawn, maybe 2 with Petracca.

Relax
Gawn is the only one worthy wearing the jumper.
Petrecca should be in his prime, but one good qtr every 4 week's isn't good enough.
He started off in the Carlton game on fire by the 3rd qtr he was finished.
He replicated that on Sunday again.

That's an odd thing to say. They were an ageing team that wasn't playing finals at that time.

Daniher revived them and a year out of the box in 2000 set them up for future finals appeareances. Roos set them back on the right path and I saw them as a likely rebounder this year, but they look to have lost their way.

I actually think they made a mistake sacking Bailey, but there was obviously a lot of politics going on.
