He was put on report for swinging his arm in the tackle into the guys face but for the three cheap shot punches he threw the referee just said watch yourself and don't do that again. No sin bin, no report, nothing. What a terrible look for the game on one of their big nights.

I reckon that was the weakest refereeing that I have seen.

He gets 1 week for those punches to the jaw. 1 week!!!!!

Be 15 if it was in the AFL. Punchy culture and they wonder why kids are getting put in hospital every Saturday night.

*smile* pathetic sport.

Shes a bad week fotr the nrl .................. Ferguson, Burgess following from Ferguson and Dugan then Gallen, hmmmm.

Just back from a weekend in FNQ, must say for the first time in years i didnt feel the palpable confidence or righteousness of the Maroon faithful in the air bit more contrite this year at 0-1 down.

Genuine tension tomorrow night will be a big game.

The wheel was always going to turn and it will, question is will it turn tomorrow night as the Blues see tomorrow night as a free hit they will go hard as they can.

Maroons are gonna have to be on their game tomorrow night shes gonna be hot especially the first 15.

Last Origin a player didn't get sent to the sin bin after punching a player not fighting back, this game a player gets sent to the sin bin for being punched in the face while not fighting back.

They summed it up well, he was binned for headbutting a fist.

Sad to hear about Alex McKinnon from Newcastle Knights. Looks like he won't be able to walk again after that cannonball tackle by Jordan McLean of the Melbourne Storm.

It's a tackle that is definitely not allowed in rugby and if Alex McKinnon didn't duck his head while being tackled, this wouldn't have happened.

Who's the guy on the ch 9 commentary team with the deep voice? Roach or something? He's an absolute dipsh!t that brings absolutely nothing to the commentary box.

Might be Phil Gould.

Looks like the Bunnies will win their first premiership in 43 years. Still leading the whole league with 21 if they win.

Scenes more emotional than when $wans won their first AFL flag in 72 years in 2005.

GI man's enjoying the moment.

Re: The other finals - 2014

Well done to South Sydney on winning the NRL premiership. I said it last week and will say it again, it gives me hope as a Richmond supporter. The atmosphere and the supporters singing the club song in jubilation after 40 years gives me a glimpse of what we can expect and it excites me so much.

That`s exactly what I was thinking.

Seeing the emotion from the Souths players and fans was brilliant.

Blokes like Burgess and Inglis in tears before the game had even ended.

I was imagining Cotchin and Jack etc. doing the same.
Geez it would be magic.

Glory glory..
Rabbitohs romp home. Brutal game. Sam Burgess plays on after fracturing his cheekbone in the first few seconds.
Big hits, good breaks. Enthralling game until the last 8 minutes or so, then blew wide open.

Was great that the commentators just shut up after they won and let the scenes do the talking, i didn't think anyone was that smart in our media
