NRL

Well done to my Storm boys who posted another win against the Cowgirls.Looking the goods at this early stage in the season.

Sure are MB me ol china.

What a fantastic culture they have down there any player even a plodder comes in and goes up a cog, Bellamy is a great coach.

Slater, and Smith along with Cronk and Widdop have the key posts covered beautifully, a real golden period for the Storm and blessed with such wonderfully gifetd and professional leaders.

Smith could well be the best Hooker ever whilst Slater will likely leave the game as its best ever Full Back covering some greats of the past in the #1.

Throw in talented young stars like Duffie, Nielson, Proctor and Bromwich with old heads ini Ryles, Manu Norrie and the Hoff once again the Storn are looking good.

My tips for this week.

Storm to beat Canterbury Bankstown Dogs

Warriors to knock off the South Sydney Bunnies (toss the coin)

Cronulla Sharkies to touch up Parramatta Eels

St George Dragons to beat Newcastle Knights - (thus not surprised if the Bennet magic kicks in this week against his old outfit.)

Wests Tigers to nail the Penrith Panthers

Brisbane Broncos to beat Canberra Raiders

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to beat Titans

Toss the coin between Eastern Suburbs Roosters and Nth Qld Cowboys.

Again 4 -5 games could easily go either way or also be blow outs.

Dragons v Knights

Roosters v Cowboys

Panthers v Tigers

Sharks v Eels

Warriors v Souths

Good win by Storm last night but if it wasn't for a couple of brain explosions & injuries NZ would have won.NZ were missing their no 7 & Locke went down in the 1st few minutes & with 11 min to go scores were level.l would think NZ will be very confident of beating Storm so hopefully we avoid them in the finals.

Thought it one of the less exciting origin games I have seen. Standard and intensity down on previous instalments IMO.

l thought it was a very good game, couple of critical errors by NSW,going for the 2 points when Qld were back peddling in defence & a poor kick on a penalty handed the ball back to Qld.On what l saw last night NSW should win game 2.

Well, that was a disappointing end to a very good game. Much higher quality than the first game.

Great game, players were out on their feet at the end. Bring on game three.

Amazing story in the age on the Brett Stewart sex assault allegations a few years back. Geez. I really feel for him, and I also feel a bit guilty that I swallowed the media line and thought he was guilty of the allegations. Sorry Mr Stewart. Makes you think about what an easy target a famous or rich person can be if you happen to cross paths with a random nutcase.

No wonder he is still angry and wants an apology. I have a new admiration and respect for him.
