Have little knowledge of league but Manly seemed to have an extraordinary good run from the refs. Will need Kiwitig amd mb's view.

Agree, not the reason we lost though. Thought the refs had an average game. From my view (I was sitting high up on half way) Manly we offside a lot, other around me were also commenting and there were a lot of neutrals. The shepherd could have been called prior to the second try. One thing I didn't like was Toovey playing "quarterback" for them, standing behind the line calling tactics. He would have been on for most of the first quarter.

Enjoyed the game though, Manly were the team on the day. Ball security was the issue. Proud of the team though they kept trying and had a crack. Looking good for 2012, especially with another Toyota Cup win.

Are they changing coach KT?

Canterbury unveiling Manly coach Des Hasler tomorrow as their new coach from 2013+.

Manly winger Will Hopoate confirmed to join Parramatta in 2014 after his 2 year missionary sabbatical.

Tim Moltzen looking to stay a Tiger & renege on a 3yr deal to join St George Illawarra in 2012 . NRL said to be only holding one registered 2012 contract for Moltzen , his original with the Tigers , which may knockout any Dragon claims.Robert Lui’s assault charges & likely axing will give the Tigers salary cap space to accommodate Moltzen.

Good ol' Parra - wonder how many more gun juniors they'll let go to accomodate the Hopoate clan.

They never learn. Best league nursery in the land - supplying every other club but their own.

Latest NRL news and the fall out has started at Brookvale.

Des Hasler to go if not already gone tonight, and likely to take Kieran Foran with him to the Doggies watch this mob implode yet again after board ructions.

Robert Lui in disgrace and sacked from the Tiggies is off to the Cowboys and of course Todd Carney to line up with the Sharkies ....... till he *smile* up again and he will eventually fair dinkum if the kid was a run of the mill centre 3/4 or winger or lock hed be long gone from the game.

Shaun Berrigan has left Warriors to collect his pension pay out at the Raiders but he will be good value there to replace the experience lost with Tongues retirement.

Am tipping a much better showing for the Raiders in 2012 if they can keep their best side together and fit.

Dessie to the Doggies as of Today ;)

Suck it Manly heh heh heh

Sea Eagles gotta get their sh!t together off field in a hurry.

Now whens Foran gonna pull on the #6 in the Blue and White

Aussies to smash Pommies in 4 nations .................... if anybody is actually paying attention or watching.

Hopefully Billy Slater makes a full recovery from his shocking busted collarbone, not a good injury to sustain at NRL level and the Stormers can have a good 2012.

To put this in perspective for Southerners - this is to indigineous people in the northern states, Queensland & Rugby League as a whole what E.J.'s passing was to Australian Football and Victorians tenfold.

Terrible news,a legend of the rugby league world.RIP.

Be sorely missed in Queensland and NSW, a true great of the game, and a champion of the underdog and tireless charity worker and figure to aboriginal youth.

RIP Artie Beetson.

Agree the equivalent status of EJ Whitten or Ronald Dale Barassi in the VFL/AFL.

Spot on Craig.

NRL season fast approaching, should be a cracker. All stars game on @ the Gold Coast this week which l reckon is a total waste of time.Hopefully no injuries.

Billy you *smile* legend !!!

Beautiful AFL mark to score winning try against those Green Muppets.

Far out am getting caned in the tips so far this season.

NRL tipping getting harder and harder.

Whoda thunk the Eels and Cowboys wouldve had such emphatic wins.

Storm and Dogs going nicely , Dezzie hasler has put the stamp on well and truly at Belmore. Storm i just love their professionalism.

Dragons doing ok and Knights failing to exude the Bennett magic.

Gold Coast up and down ........ unthinkable 2 years ago the Titans would be in peril of being punted, but history is riddled with the carcasses of Gold Coast Rugby league incarnations and if they fail the licence will no doubt head West.

Titans and Souths big money on big signings for not so much return, injury to Burgess massive blow to Bunnies.

Manly struggling with injuries, wests Tigers believing their own hype and showing their soft underbelly again as did Farah on Fox NRL, have lost Ellis who is a massive loss.

Carney rejuvenated again as he did at Easts (Roosters) when he took em to the Grand Final along with the great Gallen what a fantastic hearted player the Sharkies put a coupla wins on the board.

Warriors need a jump start and missing Cleary who had the players and also missing Hohaia.

Raiders and Cowboys schizophrenic and guaranteed to lose when you tip em and win when you dont same goes for Penrith.

Broncos going ok but loss of Parker and Yow Yeh will hurt them how impressive are Beale and Gillett !!

Basically am loving this season so far
