Bloody Newcastle ..... i gotta start listening to my intuition.

The Knights, Eels, Raiders and Panthers are the bane of my NRL tipping have been past 3 years and looks like more of the same in 09.

Almost impossible to get a line on these sides week in week out.

As for the Raiders they dont look as convincing so far under Halligan as they were under Henry.

I did try & warn you re the Knights, think your right re Raifers,Isn't Furner the coach?

Probably difficult to attract good coaches to the Raiders long term i reckon might have somthing to do with it MB, so they probably think Furner will be a good long term option being a club stalwart and champion.

They won't if the Raiders keep losing

In tonight's games the Tigers beat the Roosters (Got that right) & the Titans beat the Doggies (Got that wrong)

Brett Tate for the Warriors gone for the season,

Another knee, thats two in 3 seasons,

Big blow to him personally , and the warriors,

Storm looked ok I thought, still some teething problems in attack with new players and new systems, but defence is top notch.

Attack alot better last night tham previus 2 games.Broncos early season form impressive.

Souths beat Knights 22-12 in 1st game this afternoon.Souths looking okay for 2009,should finish around the 8.

Barret stretchered off withn a neck injury.

Barret, Ross, Kearney, looks like the injury gods have taken aim at the Sharkies.

Shocking luck for Brent Tate also with his 2nd serious knee.

Whispers in the northern Sunday papers re the Roosters and a bit of a list shake up at seasons end as they target some players.

Likes of Fitzgibbon, Shackleton, Minichiello under the gun.

And appareantly the Roosters are also trying to offload Mason

They are chasing Carney thats a given, but just heard both Nate Myles and Willie Mason have been stood down by the Roosters for breaking alcohol ban or alcohol curfew.

Myles and Mason serial offenders, as was Maitua, no wonder the Dogs fell apart, great players but de stabilising to a club.
