Looks like Billy Slater may have lost the World Cup for the Aussies ::)
Why Slater didn't come on the inside is beyond me however that wasn't the only resosn they lost.Aussies were put under pressure for the 1st time in the tournament & they buckled. It really was a dismal performance & they probably went in with the attitude it was going to be a training gallop.

Well, I did'nt give the kiwis much hope, and was just hoping they would'nt be thrashed, What an upset,

Go through the names, the Aussies have the stars, the kiwis have the battlers,

But a closer look shows , the kiwis do have a bit of recent history of rising to the occasion and troubling the Aussies in big GF type games, against the odds,

The last tri nations final was a close one , won by the Aussies with a try in extra time, and the one before that , won easily by NZ.

The Aussies probably paid the price last night, of not giving them that respect.

Well done kiwis I say, but , I would , ;)

As much as it pains me, well done NZ. Might be good for the game to use a cliche.
I think your right redders. The Kiwis deserved their victory & this should add some spice for future clashes.

Not really interested in this sport but watched the game last night. The Rubgy league world cup was a joke, how many in a row have we won? 7...8? It's a good thing the Kiwis won.

Ah, stuff the game....heard the same crap come from people when the Aussies were killing everyone in cricket.

In fact, last week there were people on radio talking about splitting Australia up into NSW and Queensland to try and make it more 'fairer' and here we are a week later and NZ has beaten us.

Bugger the game...when will people realise that in sport, success doesn't last forever and you should just sit back, enjoy it, and bask in Australian glory while it lasts.

That's why we lost...complacency.

And even the media were complacent and thought we would just walk away with it.....was it even shown 'live' on TV here?
Must admit i was out so don't know if it was shown 'live' or not.
