wait and see the strorm fire hard in the second half!!

They cant play any more badly then they are right now. Just seems like they are going half heartedly at the moment.

It's over now.

The worst I have ever seen the Storm play.

Absolutely no urgency, they look flat as, pretty pathetic effort.

Wonder how much the weeks events have had an effect on them?

Storm saved their worst for last unfortunately - just a unbelievable bad performance. Happy days for the NRL judiciary. They got what they wanted.

Exactly, credit to Manly for playing a great game. They deserved their win & would have beaten us even with Cam Smith. No doubt the week off is the best way to go.Warriors ran out of petrol last week & the Storm did today.

Well said mb. Damn disappointing, but they played out their skins and the Storm petered out and was just a slight breeze.

Sitting at Sydney airport, simply overjoyed at what I have just witnessed tonight.

JUSTICE has been dealt in an extramely harsh, however MUCH deserved manner.

Melbourne Storm - Officially the worst Grand Final team in the history of the game. ;D

Just as a point of note, for those complaing about the pre game entertainment. Three factors here.

#1 - It was a homage to returning to an afternoon GF, hence the bbq's etc
#2 - Does anyone remember the years C10 used the AFL GF entertainment as an Idol advertisment?
#3 - The NSW State Cup GF featured 23 minutes of extra time, the National U20's featured 7 minutes of extra time ... That was a full half hour of the pre game show the NRL lost. Not exactly their fault Wenty and Newtown missed around 25 field goals between them in the State Cup game

I would rather watch Australian Idol than people bang on their webbers with their lids.

Thanks christ for The Living End.

There was a context behind it around returning the game to the fans.

Much better than watching a group of never-will-be's who can barely sing strut their limited stuff advertising a tv show.

Yes, because Smith made all the difference ::)

As much as I despise the club after the last two weeks of sooking, b!tching, moaning and complaining ... All credit to a loyal fan like MB who can admit they would have lost tonight with Cam on the field. I do feel for those like MB, even if I feel the club utterly deserve to be remembered as the worst GF team ever to grace the field.

& before you continue to have a sook about the judiciary ... They weren't the ones who attacked Sam's head.

My argument is the other 40 similar tackles that didn't get penalised like Cam Smith's did.Cam Smiths tackle wasn't good but there were plenty other bad ones that went un-noticed.

Just ignore Meltiger - he is your typical Storm hater who would rather see the NRL go back to the days of the 1970's where its only played in Sydney. Hasn't written a constructive thing on them for the past two weeks.

Brian Waldron. Heh heh heh heh ....what a dud that bloke is. To think, somebody on PRE suggested him as the potential CEO of Footy. Heh heh heh heh......

Actually ... I'm a Storm member.

But after the last two weeks, the Storm and Melbourne (Especially the Melbourne media) needed to be taught a lesson.

& Sydney very much handed out that lesson yesterday.

Doesn't change the fact Smith DID attack Thaiday's head.

The club had two choices, take the decision in their stride, and act like a reputable club. Or sook, *smile*, moan and complain.

We all know what road they took, and they got what they deserved yesterday.
