Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

Balta has a better chance of nullifying Grundy/Cox than Grigg ever did, and would be more dynamic around the ground than Soldo. We're talking 20% game time here: 20 minutes, or 5/quarter. The rest of the time he's disruptive.

Lynch, Jack, and Soldo or Balta. My vote is Balta.

So do you.

Enough time for the opposition to kick 3 quick goals on us. We can lose games like this .

Yep agree with you on Balta.

Have a look at the footage of the intraclub if you get a chance. Balta is a big lump and the way that he threw himself around in the ruck will put a smile on your face

Loved how he roved his own hit out in the intra club game. With the 6-6-6 i reckon he'd give us a few options with pace and long kicking as well as his ability to swing through the ruck.

But you've been telling us he was going to take Rance's spot at CHB, weren't you? That he was a definitive defender - only. So how many goals would they kick on him there? It's a bit closer to the opposition goals. At the rate you cite, I'd make it at least 12.

That's your idea of a KPD? [I'm happy to quote the relevant post if your memory has gone hazy]

Jacob Townsend anyone?

At 187 and 85kg would be crushed.

Grigg never nullified, he rarely competed the tap but operated as another mid. given we did not have a huge focus on clearances it worked OK.

No way will we continue with severely undersized 2nd rucks. At least Balta is 194, has some physicality and can jump.

Given nsw's love of Jacob I thought he was serious?

If it was in jest well done!

What on earth are you talking about you lunatic??
I'm talking about him competing in the ruck against big men who can grab the ball from a throw in and kick a goal.
Whats the relevance of your commentary? Seriously stop drinking and posting at the same time!

Sweet! So you want to trade in insults, Bont Ague? I've kept myself nice and just traded in ideas and rational arguments until now but great. Gloves off now. As Keating said of Hewson, "I'm going to just relish roasting you slowly!" Or words to that effect.

it's going to be such fun to demonstrate the separation between an absolute doyen like Bullus - thoroughly researched, knowledgeable, aware, thoughtful and authoritative without ever getting pretentious - and a dill ,,, who thinks hanging around the change-rooms at PRO, getting off on sniffing the liniment and very likely getting in the way and annoying the boys.

Just struggling to get the right term. Dill or ... FLOG? I think that might be more accurate. Possibly PRE's finest these days. The undisputed title-holder?

Here's just a little taster - the Bont on Feb.13:

Against my advice, the club has chosen to train him in the forwards group.
Don't see a genuine champion CHB when one falls into their laps.

Bontague, Bontague, wherefore art thou, Bontague?

:hihi

Bontague:

"O, wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied?"

Actually no; sniffing the liniment outside the change-rooms makes his football acumen reach dizzy heights.

I saw the game on RFC site, I think this chap will be better playing with better players, geez he can do incredible things.

Id say if the coaches can fit him in somewhere play him, id love him as a wing although unsure of his tank, ive seen his speed and size! I remember Bully saying back end of TAC he played a Mid game and picked up 25+... Could be anything get him as soon as possible!

I'd play him alongside Jack until Lynch is fit. Keep our mobility and speed and gain a 2nd ruck.

Hopefully turns it on tomorrow.

Gee that was worth waiting for!
You've been very quiet lately. Sick of being belted by everyone on here for your abusive rants? Better put your gloves back on champ before you get seriously hurt.

And please remind us all on here what you have ever contributed other than the measurement of Hampsons inside leg
