I reckon it was one of those instances where both Allen and Balta were good for each side.

One of the goals was a lace out pass leading straight out the square.

I think Noah get an unfair wrap on here. His howlers stand out as do any defenders as they result in goals.

I am trying to imagine how much worse off we would be if we didn't have him in the team.

Would be good if we could free him up off the last line but we don't have that player currently. Maybe Tyler but he is a few games into his career

Bump. Surprised at the lack of discussion here.

Copped an absolute hiding from Allen for two and a bit quarters only to be saved by our midfield dominance from the middle of the third quarter onward.

There are issues here…

No big issues with Balta. He was fair. Decision-making needs improvement. Allen was virtually unsighted first half, just the brilliant snap goal at the ball up when Balta was manning Darling in the goal square. As others have said, 3rd I don't even think he was on the ground. Broad was on him. Last one, straight out of the centre square. No-one could have stopped that. There was a lot of swapping and changing of our back lineups, backline gelled alot better however playing a pretty average side.

He beat Hawkins in most one on one's tonight. Outside of a couple of bad short kicks here and there he doesnt do much wrong. Developing into a a gun FB.

Best footy Ive seen him play. However I was nervous after his turned it over inside D50 in 1st qtr.
If he keeps that consistency our backline will be fine long term

Showed a lot of ticker last night. Smashed early by The Shover as well as giving away a goal with poor disposal he could have dropped his bottom lip. He didn’t.
We have to take some bad with the good with Noah and he should be banned from kicking the ball less than 35 metres but he is massively important to us.
