The funny thing with the McBean hype on here ,

I very rarely got to see seconds games , but used to read the hype here and get excited ,expecting the next Richo

When i finally got to see a seconds game , I thought ..... huh is that him ?
I saw more promise in McKenzie & he was only here 5mins...

As a taller player I'd like to see Balta spend more time in the 2s maybe looking at a 1s appearance in the 2nd half of the season. Looks very promising though, he's a beast.

Looks like a rare big kid who could actually impact at AFL level in his first year, however total faith in Dimma an co making the best call on his immediate future.

I'll add something for you then, Defensive development coach Ryan Ferguson was the guest speaker before the game at 3121 today. Answering a question on who of the new boys impressed in VFL yesterday he added his name in endorsing Balta. He laughed when he said Noha was meant to be playing CHB but ended up doing as he pleased and just ran up and down the ground, took the game on and when he made mistakes won the ball back for the team. Don't think he minded Balta's initiative at all.
PS. I have it on good authority that all the line coaches, (Defense, Forwards and Mids), had to do Rock Paper Scissors to avoid fisticuffs for his services, (the guy could play anywhere), Fergo won ;D
This is what impressed me the most, you can't teach that.

Agree here, plus at times the opposition were witches hats, let's see how he goes when the side is challenged, if he can still perform as he did on sat then we know he's knocking on the door

The only rush should be signing him for a further 2 years.
His correct education and development under Fly is guaranteed. When he is ready, KAPPOW

Yeah, the language from the club shows that they are seriously excited.

Lock him up for another two years. Talls at 22 should be playing a few games at AFL.

Already, I’m thinking he has 35-40 games under his belt by then.

I saw him a few weeks ago against Carlton with a few others on this site. He was very ordinary and looked very lost in defence. I am very impressed that in a couple of weeks he has come on so quickly. Lets hope the curve continues in the same direction.

Watching VFL game replay. Noah is AFL standard. So too are Moore and Stengel.
Balta will be a very good player. Would like him in the seniors asap.
Chol in my view will never make it. Can't read the game and no intensity.

P&T, Where can you watch the VFL replay?

After watching the replay all you can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

This player has all the real tiger traits.

Hunts the ball
Stalks the player with the ball
Aggression in spades
Attacks marking contests
Closing speed is breathtaking.
Kicks the ball out of sight.
Kicks on both sides

Best big man prospect since we drafted Rance.
