Balta is not even half way through his apprentice - they say you don’t blossom as a player till you get 50 games under your belt - well I can’t wait to see what Balta can do after he reaches 50 games.
That defensive punch he did was awesome - went like a bullet.
I reckon Balta will do well against Hawkins as he bathed Darling for most of the night - and Darling is a dam good player.

When asked on SEN this morning what Noah can do in the weights room Cotch said something like:
He's a rare unit, if he was on a normal weights program he would be pushing some serious weights around but for a not even a 21 year old man he is already on the veterans program for keeping weight off, he's a pretty amazing athlete isn't he, he is such a big unit, bigger than he seems add on an amazing leap.
Anyway listen for yourself Cotch talks about Noah in the last 3 minutes of interview:

Actually hate the comparisons. Dimma was a bit silly to go there.
They're quite different. Both unique & awesome in their own right.
Only comparison that's relevevant is that in time I hope Noah achieves all that Alex did in the game or surpasses it.
Balta is not Rance.
Rance found a niche that his style and skill set suited and was spectacular at execution.
Balta - given time could be one of the greatest key backmen ever to play the game.

Rance had courage, workrate and desperation that compares to nobody. That made up for any deficiencies he may have had. IF Balta can get anywhere near that level, he will be better than Rance. That is an 'IF' though
