Not sure how people can claim he wouldn't get the ball in th middle

As he's not been tried there

I love Vlas but in the middle you need to be very quick and nimble.
Vlastuin would crush Shane Edwards, but he'd have to catch him first.
"Where'd he go? Where'd he go?"

I recently re watched a game on a Monday night in Flossy's 1st year 2013 when we played the eagles in perth. He played mid and forward, kicked a couple in the 2nd quarter and starred.

he is very capable of playing as a mid imo but I ma happy where he is for now

I remember that, the goal he kicked out of the middle is one of my favourite plays of this decade so far.

You don't have to be very quick

Shane Edwards and vlastuin would compliment each other in the guts

Showing some real hardness but just needs to do it the right place and not give a way a 50. Overall another reliable showing

Understand your point but very little in it. Umps terrible tonight I thought.

Nick Blundstone has become a hardworking irreplaceable key.
When is his contract up as Blundstone will be targeted by other clubs

Nah teams aren't interested in players who have no concern for their wellbeing and using their body as a weapon, backing into packs, and being physical with the opposition.. They aim to look for the Vickery mould.

Love the ball in his hands, but it annoys me that his first instinct seems to always look for the kick sideways or backwards. Did it again last night several times causing us to lose momentum and allow north players to flood our forward line.

Hope its not a team directive as all it does is make our forward entries more congested.

One of my fave games too. Reckon I have watched it a dozen times. Amazing handball from Edwards that had the commentators wetting themselves. I can picture in my mind a little spin of the ball Floss did when he received the handball. For me it was the moment we became a better side. I don't know if I'm right or wrong but imo that game is the one where we started to believe we could be a good side. The handball from Eddy and goal from Floss set us on the path to where we are now.

And he is as hard as they come. Just a tough physical beast. Reckon he would have loved playing in the 70's

the handball from Sheds was something else, left handed over the right shoulder into space.

It was a bit of a watershed game. We had won 10 1/2 the previous season and were 5-5 after being beaten easily in the dreamtime game and noone gave us a chance against the eagles on that Monday night at Subi. Played great footy that night.
