Nick Vlastuin

Great news. Would like to see him get in the leadership group during his new contract.

A good resigning of a future leader. Give him more time in midfield and see how he grows

Agree; has been playing very well lately. Mostly same goes for Corey. Both could become guns over next 2/3 years.

Play him in the midfield Friday night!

Yep more and more mid please. Since the loss of Tuck, Foley and Jackson over the last 3 years we only have added Miles as that grunt in and under. Now with Dusty there, Cotch, Miles, Vloss and even Grigg with all his knockers can contest hard for a ball... all of a sudden , a sprinkling confidence the middle looks ok. Throw in Delidio and Edwards and Conca once he is fit (no rush) we look ok again with Hampson winning the ruck work! No doubt we are still 3-4 mids short hence our Trelore failed attempt and the hope Moore or Townsend would stand up / improve. Vlas is one that will quietly slip in there and become a very good mid for us for many years I hope.

If we're getting smashed in clearances and contested possession, since Hardwick won't play him in the guts as a Plan A, at least have Vlastuin as a Plan B to try and turn it around. Mix it up unlike the final last year.

And don't wait until they're 8 goals in front when doing so.

Yeah agree. Hopefully our mids can put enough pressure on them (without Floss) so they don't get clean ball into their 50 and some shallow entries will bring Floss into the game with his intercept marks. If not put him in the guts before it's too late, he's a big body and would be able to compete with Ziebell or Cunnington in tight. Earlier this year Floss was terrible, his confidence and fitness seems to have improved a hell of a lot since then.

confidence

Amazing how much better you get when you play with confidence, and start winning a few games. I almost measure Ty's game in the first 10 min, if he can clunk a mark or two and convert, he, and generally Richmond are in for a good night.

3 years, 900-1.1 million would be about the right price.

yeah, maybe a bit 2014 prices.

Love Machine is a $400K a year player ATM i reckon.

Hopefully next contract hes an elite, goal kicking, bullocking inside mid worth $800k a year.
