Yeah just goes to show there's a lot more mug punters around than experts.... Me included, I backed Denver too...Streak said:Yep, guess so.
Th bookies had the Broncos as firm favs too.

Manziel picked by the Browns....not the best of teams Johnny.... but good luck.

Shazier was an interesting pick for the Steelers, I was hoping they would trade down seeing as this is mean't to be a deep draft (especially at CB and WR, 2 needs for the Steelers)
Will be interesting to see who we get in the 2nd, Nix, Hageman, Tuitt on the D-line, Desir, both Gaines, Baptist, Watkins as CB's, a crap load of WR's, Attaochu, Crichton among others at OLB (although Shazier can play inside or outside)
BTW only just found this thread, could have been talking NFL and Steelers this whole time
Great to see another City of Champions fan TF :fing32

We desperately need a cornerback and unfortunately Dennard and Roby have been taken already in the 1st round. I'd rather not take Desir as he's from the lower divisions. Stick to the Div 1 - FBS teams. Lamarcus Joyner from the Seminoles (2013 BCS Champions) would be next best IMO.
davidrodan said:We do need a corner but you don't pass on higher rated players for a position of need, I really liked Fuller as he showed that he can play zone, and had all round skills, I was a little concerned with Dennard (and I am a big Michigan State fan) not so much with his speed (although that is a bit of a concern) but more with his physical play and the flags he might draw in the NFL
Roby just scares me, both with his play and the off field indiscretions, Joyner I haven't really thought of as I see him in the slot (Gay has been good their and Sharknado can line up there too) and we need a no. 1/2 corner (too bad we let Lewis go last year)
Colvin might be a good pick up later (knee injury) as he has good zone skills and our CB prolly won't be playing much next year anyways, prolly would have a 2nd/3rd round grade without the knee
I like Nix as it will mean McLendon can be moved to end but with sub packages being used more I think a guy like Tuitt or Hageman might be better as they can play both end and tackle, only problem is both have had inconsistency issues this year
Also the way steelers utilise the DE position, mainly occupying blockers, all draftees need to be retaught the steelers way and as such maybe a lower round guy (like Mauro, Hart or Coleman) might do just as well, it's taken Heyward 3-4 years to get established on the D-line and he was a 1st rounder (and is now a pending free agent)
Will be interesting, bring on rounds 2-3
davidrodan said:Like 'Johnny Football' we will get front row seats to see how Dennard goes, playing the Bungles twice every year
Love the draft whether it be AFL, NFL, NBA (not surprising being a Tiges supporter :hihi )
TigerForce said:Hey don't speak about Sissynati like that... :hihi Easy draw for us, and as long as Big Ben doesn't become injury prone, the 7th title's in our hands.
Manziel's got the 1 guernsey .....geez who would've guessed? ;D
