Re: NFL 2012-13

Because the zone is tight, Kaep should try and fake the throw and run for a TD himself.

Game over. Those bloody Cravens won a Superbowl..........grrr.

On the positive side, the mighty Steelers leading with 6 Superbowl wins still stands. ;D

Re: NFL 2012-13

This is as unbelievable as the Swans winning the GF.

The only time he should have is in Prison.

We had many chances there in the 4th.....just couldn't get it done.

1st half stuffed it up. We know, we've seen failed 'come from behind' efforts at Richmond many times.

I thought the plays they ran on goal were pretty poor.

Too close in. Sometimes it's better to get a 15 yard penalty and go back 15 yards just so it opens up the space to throw and run a bit.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Kaepernick should have done it himself....they were too slow for him.
It was only his 10th start as QB, inexperienced.
Other than the interception I thought his passing game was very good.

Disappointed but the Ravens set it up in the first half with the errors they caused.

Swannies had it in the bag the whole time, that's why I put $300 on them.

To come back from 28-6 to get so close...and especially have many chances late.....cuts deep.

Surely will be the number 1 QB next season. I feel sorry for Alex Smith but I respect him for comments he made on this case.

Without doubt, Kaepernick will be one of the best QB's next season.
Smith should get traded really....he's a very expensive back-up, plus he deserves to get playing time for another team.
He's better than a back-up.

Congrats to Baltimore. They earned it and deserve it.

Can't blame the refs when we overwhelmingly committed the majority of the penalties in the game and just gift points to the other team.

The bottom line is, you can't put yourself in a position late in the game where you have to depend on the officials to make calls that benefit you.

Such a painful loss, but I'm proud of how they fought back. Our red zone nightmares aren't over.

They'll be working on those in the training sessions with Kaep's style now. ;D

Agree about Smith. Huge money and 8 years in the game. Keep as back up or trade.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Don't know why but I put a coooool $20 on Baltimore to win today. Sure it will be a pretty quick 'money bath' but a bath none-the-less! ha ha

49'ers currently working on a trade, but have also said if that doesn't work out for Smith they will cut him and let him find his own team. Apparently they feel he deserves that chance.

We'll take him as he's much better than our 2 back-up QBs. ;D

:hihi

If the 49'ers do cut him to allow him to go to a team of his choice, it underlines why they are so successful. Why wouldn't you want to play for a team that values it's players interests ahead of its own when the situation merits it.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Gutted by todays loss, to get so close and not win.
Couldn't imagine how much harder it would be if it was Richmond, hopefully I wont get to experience it.
In saying that i'm extremely excited about our future prospects.
This is a team that completely changed their offense halfway through a season and missed a Super Bowl by a few yards! An incredible effort.
Just wait til they get a full preseasons work on the playbook, the sky is the limit.

Could be a fun few years ahead for both my football teams!
