What are you talking about Streaker?
You obviously haven't watched much 49ers then because their defense is one of the best in the business,
that's what we are known for.
Ravens are solid but our defense is clearly heaps better.
Defense does win championships.....that's why the 9ers should win.

This is clearly a game the will be decided by which offensive unit can best handle the pressure.

Yep, SFs defensive unit on paper and statistically is one of the best in the league. No doubt. But can they handle the pressure on the biggest stage? I have no doubt the Ravens defence can. They have heaps of experience and they are a very well coached unit. In the last two games they have taken on both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on the road, and stuffed both of them.

The Ravens are a big play team offensively, especially passing the ball. As Jerry Rice said late last week, the Ravens are a team not afraid of going long. And the SF secondary is not that great. They gave up a heap of yards to the Falcons because Ryan had lots of time to throw, and the Baltimore offensive line has been in sparkling form.

To me, that combines for an opponent who is likely to create turnovers, and then be a constant danger to you with the big yardage play on offense.

Sure, the Ravens in turn have to stop the 49'ers. But regardless of his form, Kaepernick had 9 career starts before the play-offs. If Baltimore shake him early, it could mean big trouble, especially as I can see the Ravens forcing the 49'ers to have to go to the air more often than they might like. I think Baltimore is one of the best equipped teams to handle the 49'ers running game.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

Hope it is a great game.

Errors are costing us dearly...otherwise their isn't much between these two teams.
The team that takes care of the ball better will win, at this stage it's the Ravens.....49ers have been horrible tbh.

Re: NFL 2012-13

*smile*' a-holes ....they stooged San Fran with a fake FG attempt.....and they failed ;D

49ers need a Jimmy bake at half-time.

We have a habit of coming back hard in 2nd half's, but 18 points is too much imo.

It's not over yet Jukes.

Baltimore leading 21-6 but big comebacks have been done before. 49ers need to re-group with Kaep judging his throws a bit better.

I don't see it happening, out defense isn't as good as last season and Baltimore are exposing our flaws.

I was waiting for Beyonce to put a ring on it !! ;D

We'll never get half-time entertainment as big as that in the AFL.
