I love our reverse strip. Would have no issues the team raising the premiership cup in that jumper.

ToraToraTora said:If our "clash" strip was sh!t...i wouldn't want to wear it. But it's not. No stylized tiger. No weird patterns. No Daliesque monstrosity ala Haw. Just a negative image. The Golf Flog on SEN called it the worst in the comp and disgusting this afternoon. As if it's our fault we have to wear it anyway.

These novelty strips that the AFL keeps persisting with should be limited to the NAB cupIan4 said:pretty sure that used to be the case but it was changed about 8-10 years ago. I remember in 2010 Collingwood were given their home jumper for the GF because they finished higher. But I remember it being a coin toss when they played those 2 GF's against Brisbane.
It still might be a coin toss to decide the change rooms and who enters the stadium first.
its because the back of both jumpers are a dark colour (that's what the AFL will say).
I had a good laugh when I heard that. our clash strip is the best in the league not the worst. but he's a Richmond hater from way back who's probably feeling as salty as hell right now :hihi
If we make the GF then these pics can help the discussion. We have played in traditional jumper and white shorts quite often.year of the tiger said:I actually think we clash more with the reverse strip compared to the traditional strip when we play Adelaide so I have never understood the rationale for wearing it in the first place.
Against some teams I have no problem with a reverse strip - it makes sense but not against Adelaide
