Solid reasoning mate.

agree! I was not happy we had to play in it. But it's now our current Premiership jumper And certainly grown on me now!maverick said:Its sacrilegious I know, but after the past week of being 100% immersed in the grand final and all the imagery - seeing the team in our traditional jumpers looked odd. (I may of watched the QF and PF's again :hihi) I reckon the reverse strip has become a Tiger icon in its own right. I'd buy one now, whereas I never would of considered before.

Watching the replay it's great when you see see 4 or 5 bright yellow jumpers swarming all over a lone Crow.
I now love the "clash" strip.
May seem soft frees, but the one on Towner was a massive jumper tug by Lever, made sure that Towner couldn't contest the incoming ball. Near wet myself laughing at Lever arguing with the maggot n then double checking the replay to see who it was that tugged the jumper.Blind Turn said:And here"s a wild theory. Umpires can see opposition hanging onto our jumper easier. Look at the soft frees to Rance and Townsend. I'm a convert. Yellow and Black

However, there was a small article I saw recently. Would you believe that research has shown that umpires worldwide have a more positive response to lighter colours. It seems like a cliche but, yes, apparently darker colours do show a negative bias in the penalties data, awarded across most codes. Some kind of association with more devious actions or something, psychologically. Strange but true supposedly. [It might have already been reported on PRE, can't remember where I saw this]
It seems to be borne out by the GF at least.

Not wild at all, I thought the same thing, although it worked in reverse for the Crows when Grimes grabbed Betts' arm and he didn't get a free for it.Blind Turn said:And here"s a wild theory.
