New clash jumper - reversed strip

been enjoying your posting of late dude, and this one I agree with 200%. If we win the flag, the clash Guernsey will take on a lot more significance. so we may as well embrace it. I also like the idea of yellow shorts with the yellow top. I'm not really sure why white shorts are necessary/relevant in this instance.

you've been watch futbal too long, bin

AFl is about the traditional jumper, in my view. Let the Europeans change their strip every week.

Ta. Its the only issue. Dont get me wrong.
Last night sat at my bar. All the weg posters even kb400. A few rare premiership items from the 70s. Had a couple of beers and said...

How good is this.

clash jumpers sold our everywhere. you can't buy one anywhere.

thinking of buying a yellow t-shirt to wear under my regular guernsey. any suggestions as to where I could find a plain yellow t-shirt at the last minute? I've tried target online for no luck. I might try Kmart and big w as well.

Another of my teams , nz Allblacks, had to play in an alternate strip in the 07 World Cup quarter final against France after a coin toss , they played in a grey strip for the first time ,

One of the biggest upsets in world rugby , they were bundled out , the nz public wanted nothing to do with that grey jersey and demanded they never play in it again , their alternative strip is now white ,

I think the result this week will determine how we feel about the yellow jumper .

Black clashed with sky blue??

they went for a dark navy blue for that one world cup ,rumor has it Nike sold them the idea , said it would be more intimidating ,

before they changed there was no clash , but they have gone back to their traditional blue now

No food poisoning this time?

We should alter club legislation to make our clash strip our home strip.

Allows us to run out in our AFL ordered "clash jumper" (Yellow sash) on the weekend. Problem solved.

Went to the punt road "superstore" today .... jeez there's not much left there. Certainly none of the clash jumpers .... handful of traditional tops and a dwindling amount of GF tees, and other merch. Were doing a steady trade but I was surprised they didn't have more as tomorrow could've been the busiest day ever ... hoping they'll get some emergency stock in.

I reckon with the change in jumper sponsor for next year that they will have exhausted what they have with Bingle on it but their sponsorship with Bingle doesn't end until after tomorrow so they can't sell the new stock yet

Went to the Puma outlet at moorabbin but they had very little too, a few t-shirts and tracksuit tops.

Love this jumper as much as our traditional now. It’s now a part of our Premiership winning history

First team to win a flag in a clash jumper are we not?
From memory I think we are only the third to play a GF in one.
Aints 2010, Freo 2013, us 2017.

Not sure if I wrote this earlier but the question should not be "is there a clash", it should be "is it better with a clash jumper". It's relative and the answer has to be yes.
Yesterday was the first time I've seen a game live since 2011.
I sat in the southern stand top deck behind the pre goals. It was quite dark - I think they had the lights on from quarter time. Anyone who doesn't think it was easier to tell the teams apart because of our clash strip is kidding themlseves.

The superstore is going to make a fortune selling this alternate strip.....or should is I say Premiership jumper!!

I think the jumper was important to a couple of holding decisions - townsend, rance. it accentuates the movement / shape.. its why the teams that wear white seem to be favoured.
