Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

can the club afford not to give foley more game time. again last night when he was on we held our own.when he was of way to much was left up to tuck who just got belted by superior numbers. ive been saying for yrs we have very few genuine in and under type players who are up to standard. tuck cogs and foley are it and to a lesser degree johnson. well jonson is getting run with roles and cogs is gone.
if there is a reason why foleys not getting more game time i would very much like to know it. if theres no reason those in charge are making a mistake.

55 minutes he got last night on the ground for 21 touches,I think its gettin a bit silly this kid has to get more game time

Ridiculous that this kid is not getting more game time. It will start costing us games if it hasn't already.

Final point for RW. First he says he is not willing to rate him 'in the best at the competition at this stage'. Fair enough but statistically when you factor in TOG he is top 10 in the league in clearances and contested possessions. That's up there with the best for me!

Secondly if we are to take RW's assertions that he plays a significant amount of his game time outside the midfield, then that makes his figures (clearances and contested posessions) almost unbelieveably good!

He is doing everything right at the moment and no mistake. Loved it when he took on a couple of demons in the centre in the third quarter, was caught holding the ball by the second guy but loved his dash and enterprise when we were playing static at the time.

Good onya weeble.

it is interesting to revisit this thread after another season . i must admit i was wrong on foley's pace but some of the other posibilities have happened.

he looks like being the best rookie we have developed to date.

Nathan Foley (merged)

How good was this little fella ? ...8 Tackles and 28 possies...He would be a tired boy given he was a lone hand in the midfield.

Well done to him. :clap

On this effort he is a potential leader at the club...Often when things are not going well that we see peoples' real character.

Re: Foley

Foley and Richo are the only 2 players that you can rely on.
Foley is the one that should be our captain in 2008.

Nathan Foley has the heart of a lion.

Honestly, this kid is all class. Go Nathan you little beauty. Taking on the power single handedly imo. :clap

There are 21 other players out there wearing the mighty yellow and black who might just disagree with your comment mate....A side is made up of more than one player although I have to agree he does show plenty of G&D iitb.

Don't see anything wrong with his kicking today.
His had more kicks than handball today aswell.
And his prob leading our clerances today .

Agree. Probably lucky to have him. Took us forever to play him.
