I thought Stanley played a great game. In the game's 2nd half though he didn't seem to be rucking much, played swingman in backline and forward which would explain the metres gained. Grundy certainly wasn't playing his best and some of his early disposals were short kicks off the ground.
Anyway a bit off track I'm pretty sure my original point wa that Nanks will have a much tougher assignment next week against Grundy than the inexperienced Phillips and therefore needs our midfield in top flight to negate any potential Grundy dominance in ruck contents (prelim final 56 hit-outs to 24). Would you disagree?
